Surf & Adventure Resort - where adrenalin is born...
Welcome to Portugal, Europe's sunny southwest! The popular holiday destination is a must for every lover of watersports. Fantastic landscape and top surf conditions provide the perfect framework for the ideal mix of action & relaxation. Besides surfing, we offer paragliding-, quad-riding and wakeboard-trips. Thus, whoever needs some adrenaline rushes shouldn't miss out on a holiday at our adventure resort.
Location & Environment
From April to October, our oasis at the Portuguese Atlantic spoils its guests with action, fun, relaxation and great surf conditions.
The Surf & Adventure Resort is located at Lourinha, around 60km north of Lisbon and 12km south of Peniche. Lourinha is surrounded by beautiful beaches and it's a dream destination for all sun- and surf-lovers. More than 20 different close-by surf spots allow all levels of surfers - no matter if beginner or pro - to find perfect waves. From reefbreaks to mellow sandbanks; every surfer can find a surf spot right after his fancy.
Our surfcamp is situated on the outskirts of Lourinha and only a short walking distance from the centre. Whoever feels like going on a shopping-tour, heading for a cocktail-night or going skateboarding at one of the biggest local skateparks just needs to walk some minutes. All conveniences can be reached within walking distance.
From the resort, you can easily get to a number of beaches by bike. Thus, bikes are gratuitously at your disposal. For everyone missing "wheels", we offer beach shuttles several times a day.
Besides the busy and lively touristic corners of Lourinha you can also find some cosy creeks and wild coasts.
Board & Lodging
The resort consists of two main houses that are arranged on a spacious property with garden, various patios/ chill-areas, a swimming pool and miscellaneous sports facilities.
You will be accommodated at bedrooms for 2 or 4 persons. We set great store by familiarity. Therefore the maximum capacity of the resort is limited to 14 guests.
The large area of the resort offers reams of possibilities to get rid of extra energy or to just relax. We are also glad to have our own private beachvolleyball-court where hot matches are on a daily occurrence. Once a week we organize a resort tournament at which you can win some really cool awards.
Another highlight waits to be rocked - get fresh'n cool in our private swimming pool. Those who prefer reposing over exercising can sit back and relax at one of the hammocks or canvas chairs. As to put even more fun into your leisure time there's also a kicker-table, a dart board and a ping-pong table at your disposal.
In case of bad weather, you can chill out in one of the lounges equipped with TV, DVDs, games and PC (with free internet access). Feel free to bring your private laptop and use the given Wi-Fi. All our guests are invited to use the common kitchen and our grill-facilities.
In the mornings, a rich breakfast buffet will give you the extra power for another adventurous day at our resort. Every Sunday, we organize a delicious welcome-BBQ...a nice and cosy get-together in order to get to know each other.
Surfing, Fun & Pure Action
The great number of surf spots in the surroundings of Lorinha guarantees optimal feelings of success and pleasure for all levels of surfers - no matter if beginner or advanced surfer. Constant and clear waves stand for perfect conditions to learn how to surf.
Our surf package includes 5 days of 20hrs surf-class (theory & practice; beginner or advanced group accordant to the number of participants). Depending on the daily weather conditions, our surf instructors will take you to the best spot of the day. Of course, we do provide you with the appropriate material (wetsuit & board). You can also use your material off training hours. Everyone not taking part in our surf schooling can lend surf material (for rental fee.)
Are you looking for some more adrenalin? No problem - our adventure-fun-package will give you one rush after another! What about paragliding or a one-hour quad-tour...and in addition we take you on a half-day-trip to Lisbon. At the early afternoon you will be shuttled to the Portuguese capital. Enough time of the day left to go shopping & sightseeing or to enjoy a tasty Galao at one of the cosy cafes. In the evening we will have a delicious dinner (beer, wine, softdrinks incl.) at one of the typical restaurants of the famous Old Town of the city.
Afterwards, the legendary party-district called "Barrio Alto" just waits to give you an unforgettable night before we will take you home to the resort.
Furthermore, the free use of surf material (wetsuit & board) is also included in the adventure-fun-package.
Besides the surf- or adventure-fun package we organize additional activities and trips that can be booked extra/ at place: Parachuting, gliding, wake-boarding, snorkelling, jeep-safaris, go-kart, mountain-biking, horse-riding, canoeing, paint-ball, kiting and lost more... As you can see - whoever is looking for some adrenalin will perfectly enjoy himself at the Surf & Adventure resort.
