Location
The surf camp, for starting and advanced surfers is situated on a subtropical beach at the Atlantic coast of Spain. This spot comes with beautiful waves, a big sunny beach, a green and inspiring environment and a lot of traditional tapas bars to discover. Zarautz is situated 20km west of Donostia San Sebastian at the golf of Biscaya.
The beautiful beach, 2,5 km long and 80m wide, attracts surfer and water sports fans from all over the world. At summer times, the whole region revives to an international summer-sun-surfer flair hotspot, alluring active people of all kinds. The Spanish vida loca with all its facets, good wine, delicious food and the extra portion of vitality add the zest to your perfect holiday. Enjoy your stay with us!
Board & Lodging
The Surf Camp is situated on campsite Talai Mendi only a 500m walk from the beach. We have our own private campground where you can find a big lounge tent, hammocks, green house reception, BBQ corner, sun terrace, mini ramp, Yoga and massage area. You will be accommodated in spacious bungalows with comfortable airbeds. Facilities as mobile charge point, WiFi and the use of Sector 9 skatelongboards are free of charge! We also offer you our "Half Board" for good quality evening meals in combination with a healthy big breakfast in the morning. All made by our own Chef!
Beside the surf you can enjoy beach games, skate sessions, crazy parties in town, a traditional beach party, a city trip to San Sebastian and a tour to the new MOOR Surfboard Factory. No boredom at our camp! Feel free to do what you like and just fill up your day with whatever you fancy!
Surf lessons
We will start your week with a warm welcome of the crew and a meet and greet with fellow surfers. If you rent a surfboard you will have the privilege of having your own board that can be taken out for a surf whenever you like! Surf Classes for different levels are given every day in small groups including an expression session (unofficial surf contest) on Fridays. Our experienced and qualified instructors (A.L.O/BSA) will guide you personally to have fun in the water and become a real surfer.
