It's been many years aleady, that freistil invites surf- and sun-lovers to spend their holiday at the well-tried Billabong Surfcamp at the wonderful French Atlantic coast. However, since 2006 - for everyone favouring luxury over good value - we proudly present our exclusive Billabong surf-villas.
Come and enjoy the surpassing atmosphere of this surfers' paradise in a very special way. Get yourself spoilt by a fabulously equipped mansion, optimally situated between pines and the ocean.
Location
Welcome to Europe's longest beach and to the Billabong Surfhouse! Moliets Plage has everything you could ask for: endless beaches, good waves, BMX and skate spots, surf shops and cafes & bars to chill out or party till the break of dawn.
Beside picturesque beaches, the environment catches travellers with a diversified landscape: from umbrageous pinewoods over hidden lakes up to the foothills of the Pyrenees -there's a great many places to be explored. If you are interested, we organize trips and excursions e.g. to other surfspots or popular cities of the region. One thing is for sure: you will definitely meet a lot of like-minded people that will be on the proverbial "same wave-length" with you!
Board & Lodging
You will be accommodated at our modern and very well-equipped Billabong Surf-Villa at Moliets Plage. In order to keep it exquisite and private, the maximum guest capacity is limited to 8-10 persons. Different double bedrooms (some with king-size beds) will be at your disposal.
Only 400m away from the beach, our surfhouse spoils you with an equipment that is just terrific: private garden, common lounge with sat.TV and video recorder, dining area, private terrace, private parking lot, different bathrooms (according to number of bedrooms), shower & toilet rooms, washing machine, dryer and - last but not least - fully-equipped kitchen with freezer, dish washer, micro-wave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster.
As a matter of course, we also take good care of your physical well-being. A well-trained chef is hired to prepare a generous breakfast (with a selection of cold cuts, cheese, salad, bread, sweet spread and cereals). If desired / booked, we also provide you with a delicious dinner. In addition, you can use an extra fridge for your personally brought food and beverages.
The surf course
Surf class (beginner, intermediate or advanced, depending on the number of participants)
- 5 days a 2 hours theory and practice (1 class hour = 60min)
- Licensed surf instructors teach you in English or German and give you a detailed understanding of surfing as sport and life style.
- You will be trained at various spots. Beginners will mostly benefit from the sandy beaches of Moliets Plage. Advanced surfers are invited to check out various spots in the surrounding in order to improve their skills or to just experience different breaks.
For the time of your surf class, you will be equipped with a long-sleeved Billabong wetsuit and a BIC Surfboard. On the spot, we have a wide range of BIC surf boards (6'7" - 9'4"). Thus, even if you bring your own material, there won't be any problem with trying out one of our boards. As one highlight of your surf class, you can keep the provided Billabong Lycra as a present. Those who already attended surf lessons are invited to lend the accordant material.
