Location & Environment
The perfect location - Villa Mandala is situated right on the beach, literally in the sand. Between Taghazout (5 min north) and Agadir (15min south), Villa Mandala is within walking distance to restaurants, shops, banks and markets of Banana village. Most importantly, the villa is also within walking distance to some of the most consistent surf spots on Morocco's surfing coastline. The classic Banana Point is on the doorstep, the hollow lefts of Onze and the easy lefts of Douze peel to the south, beach break action is around the corner at Devil's Rock and Crocodile's and with Spider's Reef and les Dalles to the right and left it's hardly surprising we snapped up the chance to take on this incredible place. The waves in front of Villa Mandala are consistent and suit all levels of surfer from beginner to advanced.

Board & Lodging
As the most exclusive villa we have, Villa Mandala is a real treat. Each of the 6 rooms has an individual and real feel of quality about them, sprinkled with trinkets and designed to a theme. Lie back and listen to a Moroccan sea breeze in the Butterfly room or dip into a little traditional Mandala style in the cosy cultural Indian room. The White room is a perfectly composed dream den, coated in a crisp white finish and dashed with eclectic colour- watch the perfect sunset from your pillow. The Master bedroom is a Moroccan masterpiece lined with the Moroccan style salon- it looks out onto beautiful Banana beach, Banana point and the lefts of Onze and Douze.
Hidden beneath a blanket of Bourgainvillia, Villa Mandala offers a real relaxation retreat. The villa has a private hammam (Moroccan sauna) for two so you can unwind and rejuvenate after a long day in the surf. The roof top terrace is the perfect place to sunbathe, chill out or have a drink at sunset. Downstairs there is a big living area with large sofas, tv, satellite, lots of films, wireless internet, books to read and games to play. Like our original surf camp the atmosphere is laid back, fun and friendly. The terrace at the front is the perfect place to have breakfast in front of the surf, or enjoy a few drinks in the evening.
The rooms are big enough to give you your own space and privacy. The furnishing and extra touches are unique and luxurious and the overall feel is colonial, Moroccan and exclusive.
When it comes to your physical well-being and meals, it's totally up to you to choose your favourite way of being boarded.
Wake to the aroma of freshly brewed Moroccan coffee and hot fresh bread from the village bakery. Enjoy local honey, jams, yoghurts, eggs, crepes and a rainbow platter of seasonal fruits. Sit back, relax & take time over a sun-filled breakfast banquet beside the glistening waters of the ocean front swimming pool. The perfect way to ease into each day!
Lunch is a picnic on the beach between surfs. Freshly filled baguettes with tasty veggie pates, chicken, meat & cheese salads, sweet energy boosting treats and fresh fruit helping you make the most of your time in the surf.
At sunset, Khadija, our fantastic local chef, creates an irresistible array of traditional and contemporary Moroccan dishes, using only the finest and freshest local produce. From a colourful display of delicious tapas by the pool, to aromatic tagines, subtly spiced cous cous, sensational fish from the morning's catch, 'salade royale', or the famous chicken pastilla. A star lit mouth watering feast delighting every palette and satisfying the hungriest of surfers is guaranteed each evening.

Surf Class & Surf Material
With a team of fully qualified instructors, our aim is provide safe, fun, rewarding surf coaching for all abilities. From complete beginner to experienced surfer, our coaches will get you to the next level.
Morocco's year round warm climate and huge variety of waves mean it's the perfect place for all levels to progress. From easy mellow beach breaks to rolling points, Morocco has it all. And with our local knowledge of the area, top quality coaches and equipment there is no better place to learn or improve your surfing. We offer a range of coaching courses; from two-hour sessions to weeklong courses for all abilities. All courses include board and wetsuit hire and professional coaching from tour surfteam.
Our dynamic curriculum covers all the surfing essentials, from learning to stand and water safety, to perfecting your cut backs. See below our variety of class-levels.
The starter course - is designed as an introduction to surfing, this essential first session covers all you need to know to get going. The session starts on the beach and then moves to waist deep water working on board handling and safety, reading ocean conditions, paddling, catching broken waves, the jump up and stopping safely.
The intermediate course - is the next step up. At intermediate level the focus is on solidifying the basics. You'll learn about the paddle out and the techniques to make it easier, board control, quicker take offs, weight distribution and basic surfing etiquette. More advanced intermediate students will benefit from the session's focus on wave selection and catching and riding those elusive green waves.
The advanced sessions - are ideal for those who can surf but haven't surfed for a while and need a few pointers to get up to speed and make the most of their stay; or as an introduction to surfing point and reef breaks.Let our coaches take you out and show you around the line up, where to sit, which waves to go for and how to look out for those close out sets. Here we concentrate on duck diving, bottom turns, off the top's and cut backs. These sessions are really aimed at pushing your surfing forward.
Our 121 surfing - tuition really makes the most of your time in Morocco. Our private classes will be tailored to focus on any aspect of surfing you require and give you immediate results. An individual instructor dedicated to improving your surfing skills will give you the attention that will accelerate your progression.
