If you are looking for a real special surf trip, then you will find the right thing with Raptureroll, the world's first mobile surf camp. Each trip lasts one week, starts from the airport in Bilbao (northern Spain) and will transport you luxuriously to the best surf on the way to Hossegor in France and back again.
Each trip is custom designed to meet the desires of the passengers. Surf enthusiasts will be treated like professional surfers from the moment they arrive with direct pickup at Bilbao Airport. Once you climb aboard onto your mobile living room and bedroom the only thing left to think about is your flight to the Basque Land of northern Spain.
The tour begins on the same day as your arrival with the trip to Santander and continues on for one week to Hossegor, France and back to Bilbao. In between are Europe's best surfing breaks, such as Loredo, Ajo, Berria, Sopelana, Bakio and the famous beaches of Biarritz.
With Raptureroll every trip is unique. Regular surf checks dictate the day´s itinerary. Raptureroll then drives you to the best swells and parks directly at the beach only minutes away from the water. From the upper deck you will be able to scan the breaks and hit the surf just as the best waves roll in.
Rapture Roll – the mobile Surf Camp
The air-conditioned Raptureroll surf bus offers every imaginable luxury for its ten passengers and crew, consisting of an experienced driver, a guide and a cook. The bottom floor of the bus contains the kitchen, shower and toilet. Single beds with curtains, reading lights and ample storage space for personal luggage are located on the upper floor.
Breakfast and dinner will be prepared daily for the passengers. Chilled drinks and tasty snacks will be available at affordable prices during the day. Power supplies for notebooks, mobile phones and digital cameras are available. Power sockets are located in each sleeping compartment and throughout the bus.
Raptureroll is a model of sustainably based environmentally friendly tourism. The 503 hp Mercedes-Benz motor that powers Raptureroll will convert unused engine heat to provide hot water. Shower water will be recycled for use in the toilets. Raptureroll is committed to not only protecting the environment but to offering the same level of comfort as found in all Rapture Surf Camps.
Raptureroll offers ample space for ten guests relaxing in the chill-out area on the upper deck or in the dining area below. Additionally, a barbecue grill, outdoor seating and tables are available for relaxing evenings by the beach before Rapture rolls on. Your personal valuables and surfboards are always safe on the Raptureroll while you are hanging ten. One Raptureroll crewmember will always remain on board in order to ensure the safety of your personal property.
